Hey my name's Fox and you're kinda CUTE
I have a reputation for being a BRUTE
I often go for dinner in my birthday SUIT
When I walk in, the TV puts itself on MUTE
Do I like boys or girls? The question's MOOT
But you should see what I can do with a FLUTE
If you a camera, you might wanna SHOOT
Cause I drop more bombs than they do in BEIRUT
I'm always on the lookout for a new RECRUIT
My reviews are offensive and I don't DILUTE
I tried to tone it down but it won't COMPUTE
Another business owner just filed a LAWSUIT
But if you read the words, I'm quite ASTUTE
Global expertise but without the SNOOT
So if your curry knowledge is somewhat MINUTE
The only route you need to take is MEERUT
WHAT
If you want curry in Dallas, then get your kicks on Meerut 66.
What to get: Shrimp Masala, Chicken Boti, Chicken Karahi, Paratha.
What else: Will my cats bash their heads into me for food, or will they take the "Mew-route."
Simply one of the best Indian restaurants in the country and I prefer it to their original Harry Hines location - it's more comfortable, with better AC, better decor, more sit-down while still being casual enough to feel "chill" as we (they) kids say.
And if you don't like this amazing food, I guess you prefer the Meh-route.
Also more convenient for me because it's where I always hang out in Carrollton, while the Harry Hines location is in an iffy area near all the strip clubs - which can be fun, but it's usually surrounded by bad traffic. Whereas this place is near where all the boba places and Korean places are, so it's perfect for me. It's about a mile away from all the good action, but it's well worth a detour because we're talking about some of the best Indian food you'll ever eat in your life - no exaggeration, especially in North American terms.
The family that runs it are angels, and service as spectacular as well. It's run perfectly by the daughter of the owner of the other place.
Tied for the best Indian in USA with India on Wheels in Pittsburgh, Himalaya in Houston, and Ganesh Temple Canteen in Queens. That is some rarefied air right there.
And - If you're tired of the you route, then why not try the Me Route?
Meerut is one of my fave restaurants in Dallas-Fort Worth, also one of Barbie's faves, in fact, it's top 5 Indo-Pak in the country, and more consistent than the original Harry Hines location.
It's a little family-owned place with home cooking style Indian/Pakistani dishes. The chapati is good but like most chapatis, a little dry. I recommend the Paratha, twice as expensive at a whopping (jk) $3 and is the size of a small country - namely Sri Lanka. It's deep fried, moist, delicious, and can be combined with any other dish for a wonderful, unhealthy experience.
I'm sick of gold and frankencense. Let's try the Myrrh-route?
Kebabs: Chicken Boti is some of the best I've ever had. I don't know how they marinate, but it's so tender that I could literally eat it everyday. I never thought I'd find marinaded chicken I liked more than Buffalo's Chicken Souvlaki places. Well, I did.
The beef kebab is interesting... I didn't like it as much as Barbie did. What we both agreed on were the curries. The first time I came, I said: these are the best curries in the country. The Chicken Karahi has a savoury, spicy, flavourful, wet consistency, combining perfectly with the rice. I thought it was impossible to get a better curry in North America than this...
Until I tried the Shrimp Masala the very next day. Our favourite dish on the menu, made with the same sauce as the Chicken Masala. The works perfectly with the sauce. You will never eat at one of these crappy buffet-style sugary bland Americanized overpriced sh** places again after you try it.
There's a generous amount of shrimp in the curry. Now would you like me to put a generous amount of shrimp in your curry?
At the other location you'll notice - this guy is really into his Cricket, because it's is playing on the TV 24/7. But you can't have everything. I love the family that owns both places - some of the nicest and most genuine people I've ever met. Even if they do love cricket...
(((Crickets)))
Anyway, off to the dentist. I'm having a Meerut Canal.
You've done all your labour, now give me your FRUIT
You'll be impressed when you see me SALUTE
I wanna jump on you without a PARACHUTE
Draw from days at the house of ILL REPUTE
And use my expertise as a PROSTITUTE
(And now that you know that, don't PERSECUTE)
(And if you're law enforcement, don't PROSECUTE)
(And if I get a death sentence, don't ELECTROCUTE)
(Only backwards barbaric nations EXECUTE)
(Anyway, where was I, let's not CONVOLUTE)
So we'll do it like an Alaskan MALAMUTE
And afterwards you'll know, there's no SUBSTITUTE
But first, before I bring you into DISREPUTE
My dinner suggestion is ABSOLUTE
Cause no other curry house has this ATTRIBUTE
The only route we need to take is MEERUT

Update
A place that sells Kababs that doesn't have lemons or limes to go with a Kabab ..It's like eating pancakes without syrup or a hamburger without the bun..
Cmon guys..Nimbu and kababs go together.. -

This is probably the worst Indian food I have ever made it worth her while and I do not recommend this place to buy worst enemy

Went again last night and left again in a food coma. Food is reasonably priced and sooo good! Highly recommend the chicken tikka masala, biryani and garlic naan. PRO TIP: if the food stains your fingers, wash your hands with soap and then whitening toothpaste!
The girl working the front counter is so polite and provides great customer service. One of out dishes came out very spicy, so we mentioned this and she had another one made up mild, no problem at all. Usually at Indian or Asian places, if this happens they get offended, bothered or roll their eyes and ask for the spicy dish back before get the other made, but not here. She was kind and understanding. We will definitely be back.
The only negative aspect is the lackluster ambiance of the restaurant itself, but for good food either deal with it or order to go! =) -

Do NOT go to this place. Customer service here is awful and the people here are rude! I found hair in my food and bugs all over this restaurant when I went. They said I was trash and called me a b*tch when they messed up MY order. I wish I could give them a negative review.
